I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.

Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
